Join the Innovation Fund Luxembourg Infoday, organised by Luxinnovation, a national event designed to empower companies and stakeholders with the insights, tools and connections needed to succeed in one of the world’s largest funding programmes for innovative low-carbon technologies. Whether you are exploring funding opportunities or preparing to submit a project, this Infoday offers a unique chance to engage directly with experts from the European Commission, CINEA, and leading institutions.

Launched in 2020 with an estimated budget of €40 billion, the Innovation Fund supports innovation technologies that drive Europe’s transition towards climate neutrality. Funded through revenues from the EU Emissions Trading System (ETS), the programme targets industries and technologies with the highest potential to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

The Innovation Fund focuses on : 

• Energy-intensive industries
• Renewable energy solutions
• Energy storage
• Carbon capture, utilisation and storage (CCUS)
• Clean mobility
• Net-zero emission buildings

It supports major projects with a minimum CAPEX of €2.5 million, helping innovators deploy or scale up technologies with strong decarbonisation impact. The new Innovation Fund Grant call and Auctions has opened on the 3 December 2025, with around €5 billion available. This Infoday will provide information you need to prepare for your application.
